Expats In Spain on New Years Eve
What do Expats In Spain do for New Years Eve…well see below we had a ball.
Spain really know how to party and have many fiestas all year round but New Years Eve is like most countries a big night and they really know how to party.
Most Spanish families stay at home for Christmas but New Years Eve they go out and party and many stay in hotels around the country as they have some great all inclusive events on that night.
See what we did in the video below.
Expats In Spain
Having lived here for 15 years now and being married to a Spanish girl, i tend to live a Spanish way of life now and follow the Spanish way of partying. As a big part of the New Year celebrations it really starts of at 12pm with the chiming of the bells and we eat a grape for each of the 12 strikes of the bell then the party starts.
Most hotels in Spain now offer great dinners with entertainment and great food. We stayed at the hotel Mexico in Vera near where we live and had a 5 course dinner with plenty of drink and dancing and open bar until 4am, well i think the party went on after that but we had the hot chocolate and churros they past around at 3.30am and then headed off to bed.
We love to party in style.
stayed at a great hotel near our home here in Almeria.

Expats In Spain
Most Expats go out to friends homes to party and normally do not go to hotels that is more of a Spanish thing really and when i first came to live in Spain I to did party at expats homes mostly with other expats and thats great but i now think that the Spanish way is better and does not have to be expensive.
